3DVision monitors with AMD card
Is there a way to get a 3DVision monitor working with an AMD card at the full 1920*1080 120 Hz in 3D (60 Hz per eye)?
The only way I know of to get 3DVision screen + AMD card working is through the HDMI 3D protocoll which is unfortunately limited to 1080p 24Hz (per eye) or 720p 60 Hz (per eye). I ask because there are no recent 120 Hz 3D shutter monitors on the market advertised for use with AMD cards, the last ones being the Samsung 750 and 950 from 2011 (hard to get/expensive). I'm sorry, I got a SQL error twice trying to post this thread and didn't think it got posted and tried again. Please delete the redundant threads. |

RE: 3DVision monitors with AMD card
I haven't heard of a way. Strobelight will get the monitor into 3D mode, but you'll still need some other software to handle 3D and some way to synchronize the glasses with the monitor.
