it` s allways a good idea to remove old drivers before installing a new one, use DDU to remove old drivers before installing new for example.

it`allways a good idea to remove old drivers before installing a new one, use DDU to remove it for example.

nope, it`s not working. am i doing it right? i cleared driver with ddu in safe mode, installed 21.5.2, reboot, made patch and then reboot. this is what i have got         (no amd in context menu)     (The device driver may be corrupted, or the system may be running low on memory or other resources. (Code 3))

I do it like this normaly:

- boot to safemode
- remove driver with ddu in windows safemode
- reboot
- install amd driver
- reboot
- boot up windows says not AMD blablabla
- start patcher with admin rights and apply patch
- reboot
- check if amd/radeon icon is in tray and start it
- done

I was told that this may be the place where I could fix my GPU that has a problem with Code 43. I got this info from https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-sof...lse#M42635 and it says to download atikmdag-patcher-1.4.6 ? Is this the right place?

21.5.2 work with the patch, but 21.6.1 doesn't work in any way

You are using a modded bios (minning) or something? if your gpu has a bios switch try to change it and se if solve the 43 error, on XFX cards has a know problem with that switch... one of does BIOS don't keep the configuration and the card show that error 43 after sometime.

In my experience error 43 was like 7 times out a 10 a BIOS issue maybe a bad mismatch or a corrupted one who actually fix after rewrite a correct BIOS.

But there is a case of a dead gpu to so...

Here in https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ you can find almost every original bios and tools to flash it so read a about learn and try to do it.

Well 21.6.2 still the same issue, 21.Q2 works fine with the patch but as far a i understand was based on 21.5.2 variante
