BenQ 2420T force display scaling
Hello,
im trying to force display scaling for my monitor benq 2420t and i dont get it. graphic card: MSI 1070 GTX Monitor: BenQ 2420T (120Hz) OS: Windows 10 Pro Connection: Displayport / DVI (both testet) What i have tried: 1. reset all 2. restart 64 3. open cru and delete all detailed resolutions, standard resolutions and extension blocks. 4. add a custom resolution like 1280x960 as standard resolution and/or as detailed resolution (adding as lcd-native profile) 5. restart 64 Sometimes (but not always) the active signal resolution is the same (1280x960) like the desktop resolution. This seems sometimes to work, but in nvidia control then i dont get the option for display scaling. can someone help me? sorry for my bad english, im a german guy best regards Hocke |

RE: BenQ 2420T force display scaling
Display scaling is supposed to be available if any non-native resolution is defined in the EDID as shown in CRU. The simplest configuration would be to have 1920x1080 @ 120 Hz as the first detailed resolution and 1280x960 @ 120 Hz as the second detailed resolution and nothing else. If display scaling is not available with that configuration, then it's a driver bug.
