CRU Unable to underclock laptop built-in display
Heya, I'm trying to underclock my laptop monitor for better battery life. Its a 120hz IPS panel, and standard with the AMD Drivers installed windows doesn't show me an option to select 60hz. When I used CRU to try and put it to 60hz I get this weird dimming issue, its quite subtle but you can see the display basically flickering the dim up and down a bit constantly.
Does someone know why this is happening? Thanks! |

RE: CRU Unable to underclock laptop built-in display
Make sure you are using the same timing parameters as 120 Hz. If that doesn't help, try doubling the vertical total so the pixel clock is the same. If that doesn't help, it might be a panel limitation.
