Then it sounds like the screen was damaged somehow. What laptop do you have and what exactly did you do?

What resolutions did you add? At what point did the screen turn white with black bars?

Make sure you are shutting down the laptop and not putting it to sleep. Press and hold the power button to shut down the laptop. Then wait a few seconds and press the power button to turn it back on. Do you see the Lenovo logo when it powers on or is it showing the white screen immediately?

Does your laptop have a Novo pinhole button like in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGIBalDtMF4

If so, what happens if you shut down the laptop and then press the Novo button? Do you see a menu like in the video or does it show the white screen immediately? If you can see the menu, you can boot into safe mode by choosing System Recovery > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

4K@60Hz
Hi Sir,

I have a MSI GF75 Thin 9 SC laptop. Specs here: (https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GF75-Thin-9SX...cification) The HDMI connector on the side of the laptop only supports HDMI 1.4. This means that it can only support 4K@30Hz but I could manage 4K@60Hz via Nvidia control panel. Now I can't see the display settings since I updated my Intel GPU. How can I get back the 4K@60Hz bandwidth? Please help.

The driver has to support YCbCr 4:2:0. How did you manage 4K @ 60 Hz via the NVIDIA control panel?

I'm not sure what you're saying. Do you see the logo or not? If not, then something is wrong with the screen and you should get it repaired under warranty.
