Please tell me how to make 60,000 and 120,000? That will disable using multiple heads internally, which will allow EDID overrides to work, but you will be limited to around 1350 MHz pixel clock. |

Oh okay, it didn't work the same as Radeon Settings Timing Display.Active is in the detailed resolution dialog. In Radeon Settings, the resolution is the desktop resolution and the timing display is the active signal resolution. CRU only deals with the active signal resolution, and the desktop resolution should always match if GPU scaling is disabled and you set the resolution through list all modes instead of the display settings. It's normal in windows but at the bootmgr, it's like this.Either the monitor isn't handling the resolution correctly, or the adapter is not converting the resolution correctly. Did that also happen with the Insignia adapter? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello and thank you for this really useful software!
I have a question regarding VRR. I have an AMD gpu and a 4k60 monitor with a default VRR of 48-60. Thanks to the CRU, I increased the VRR to 30-60 without any issue. However when I overclock the vertical refresh rate, the VRR is broken even if I keep it at default, and the games stutter a lot even at a stable frame rate inside and outside the VRR range. The monitor can go up to 80hz without issue except in game (it is advertised to go 23-80). For reference, here are the specs: https://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/436M6VBP...h-ambiglow Also, my gpu is rx 6800 xt. To explain, I would like to have the highest refresh rate for every day use and keep the VRR working for games (by locking the frame rate at 60 in-game). Do you think there is anything I can do to make the VRR and overclock work together? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I'm not entirely sure where to post this but I'm having trouble setting up specific custom resolutions on CRU.
I'm using this on a 1920x1080 120 hz laptop with a relatively recent AMD iGPU. I can't seem to add a custom resolution of 1080x1080 (yes 1:1 aspect ratio), when I try adding it in the custom resolution option, one of the height/width option would turn red not allowing me to proceed. I was curious if I'm doing something wrong, or if there is some other way of getting this to work. Thanks. |
