I want to put both in 2560*1440 format. From my personal PC, with Nvdia, I manage to force the 2560*1440 format on the second (only the format, not the real resolution which is materially limited).
It works well. But for work, I use the same screens but with another PC that doesn't have an nvdia card.
I tried to set 2560*1440 on CRU, but I have a message on the screen telling me that it "cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1920*1080".

Do you have an idea ?
CRU can't create downscaled resolutions. You can enable Virtual Super Resolution in AMD Radeon Settings to get 2560x1440 on the 1920x1080 monitor.

Intel doesn't have such a feature.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have a Samsung NEO G8 4k Monitor and two Samsung OLED G8 (3440x1440).
I'm currently trying to enable nvidia surround for them and whenever I try that, it only gives me the resolution of 7680x1440. To me this doesn't make sense because if I added all the horizontals together it should be above 10000 resolution right? and keeping the 1440 as a vertical. I don't know much about monitors and I'm trying to get this to work. I tried adding resolutions using CRU and every time I do it, my monitors flicker and I basically have to reinstall my graphics drivers to get them back to normal. Any advice would help thanks.

CPU: I9-13900k
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4090
All monitors using Display port

After making changes in CRU and rebooting, the whole "display" section is missing from the nvidia control panel.
Deleting any changed profile from CRU and rebooting restores the "display" section

I am currently on win11, with nvidia driver ver 496.49

Had same issue, instead of restarting windows, I used the restart64.exe, it remained while in the os, and upon restarting the pc.

NVIDIA Surround requires all monitors to have the same resolution with the same exact timing parameters. 2560x1440 is the highest resolution all the monitors have in common.

Am I able to, and if so how do I use CRU to make them capable of 10320x1440p?
Thanks for your help

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi ToastyX,

It appears something has change over the last 6 or so month with Nvidia drivers and now they appear to not be reporting correctly to CRU (tried 1.5.2 and then 1.5.1 since it was the last one that worked for me). I just get three greyed out default extension block entries instead of CTA-861. Do you have an idea what is going on? If so is there a work around?

I think NVIDIA broke something at some point, but it doesn't seem to affect all displays.

Run this and post the test.txt file: https://www.monitortests.com/EDID-test.zip
