4K @ 120 Hz would require either FRL or 4:2:0 without FRL. The dongle probably doesn't support FRL, so you'd have to add a 4:2:0 TV resolution, and you'd need both the HDMI and HDMI 2.x data blocks.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) - Help Wanted with QHD resolutions.
Hi, posted this to a monitor subreddit and realised I should be here instead of there. I was looking for help with adding a resolution (1920x1440) at 240hz. Please read post attatched below as I am not bothered to write out all of my post again:

Cru mirror in middle of screen

I just recently got a new 240hz monitor its the Sceptre Curved 24.5-inch Gaming Monitor and i tried to use cru to use streach res for fortnite. But after i switched to my normal resolution 1720x1080 i noticed a line in my screen almost like a mirror and everytime something passes through that line it doubles an example would be in game i see almost 2 of my chroshairs and i wanted to know if there is a fix?

Your monitor doesn't support the resolution correctly, so you'll need to use GPU scaling.

Disabling G-SYNC won't matter because the issue is the limitations of the chip, not G-SYNC itself. Monitors with the Reflex Analyzer have the G-SYNC chip. "G-SYNC compatible" monitors don't have the G-SYNC chip. Just use GPU scaling. I don't understand this obsession with display scaling that everyone is having.

Yes, AW2521H only supports a limited set of resolutions because of the G-SYNC chip. Use GPU scaling.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
i know this program isn't for downsampling, but i'm talking in general: does anyone know a downsampling workaround for unsupported resolutions (black screen) where the aspect ratio isn't the native's one? if it matters, i have an acer aspire a315-22 with an amd gpu where 1366x768 is the native resolution and 1024x800 showed a black screen (despite having 229888 fewer pixels than the native, it has 32 more rows of pixels than the latter). the only thing that worked is vsd (which i tested a few weeks ago and worked)
