I've followed the guide located at

to a t. After following all the instructions listed in that guide and restarting the driver, the 4096x2160 is still available in all selectable places.

Can anyone provide any assistance?
Export a file (any format) and give it to me so I can see the complete configuration.

Thanks for your help. Any preference on how? I can Dropbox it or do you have a preferred way of sending it directly?

It doesn't matter. The forum has attachments. Even a copy/paste of the .dat or .txt format is fine.

Yes. You still have 4096x2160 @ 50/60 Hz as 4:2:0 resolutions in the extension block. Delete those and 4096x2160 should be gone.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello Toastyx and congratullations for you awesome application. Also hello everybody.

This is the first time i will write here, english is not my native language but i think we'll can understand perfectly.

Ok, this is my Issue:

I purchased a Sony Bravia KD-55XE9005 (US equivalent is x900e) 8 days ago. Also i have a computer with 2x gtx 1080ti connected in SLI. Both devices (VGA and TV) support succesfully HDMI 2.0 and i can completely use the 600mhz pixel clock rate bandwitdh to create custom resolutions: 1920x1080 120hz, 2560x1440 and even 2880x1620 120hz (i cannot overpass this last because i would pass the 600mhz limit).

here's some pics from imgur since i don't know how to post images here:

1080p 120hz: http://i.imgur.com/DGPADSM.jpg
1440p 120hz: http://i.imgur.com/gV4ztXZ.jpg
2880x1620 120hz: http://i.imgur.com/jlm65Cf.jpg and how to: http://i.imgur.com/oQ66pAI.jpg

I created them from nvcontrol panel but also i have tested them in CRU and it works.

So...

The problem is pixelation or no subpixel rendering when i use 120hz resolution.

You will see it clearly with these pics:

1080p 60hz: http://i.imgur.com/yuRz9uL.jpg

1080p 120hz: http://i.imgur.com/Esaz17z.jpg

As you can see, the words looks pixelated, but in games is even worse, no matter use AA or MSAA, the images look edged and jagged. All this happens when i use game mode or graphics mode. I do this because 4k 60hz with motion flow On generates imput lag making games unplayable, so my idea was basically have a clear 120hz resolution with DSR enabled.

I have tested all i know: disable SLI, test all HDMI imputs, update AndroidTV firmware (i think 99% is how the TV doesn't interpretate the 120hz input as a 1080p native resolution)... what i've not tested is a displayport to hdmi conversor (until i know 1080ti has DP 1.4 and hdmi 2.0 outputs) but adapters i have seen only support dp 1.2 to hdmi 2.0 (included accell).

Sometimes changing from 60hz to 120hz, i achieve the image doesn't look pixelated but when i enter into a game or something, that switch to fullscreen makes the image pixelated again.

So... i'm out of ideas, maybe it has to do with Front porch, sync witdh, polarity, but is a world to discover. And i'm supposing my cable is ok because i succesfully can do 4k 60hz 4:4:4.

Any help or idea you can provide is wellcome. Someone with this model who had had the same problem and successfully solved it please help!

Also i can confirm this TV model can do more than 1080p 120hz.

Thanks!

That seems like a TV limitation. What timing parameters are you using?

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
A "weird" question here.

When you use Delete in CRU or the ResetAll option, does it remove the enumerated monitors from Windows completely?

I'm looking for a way to do that, because I maintain 40 rental computers, all of which use dual-monitor extended desktops and move around from venue to venue using random monitors and TV's at each one, some VGA, some DVI and some HDMI. I seem to spend far too much time on-site playing around with screen numbers and primary and secondary monitor settings, thanks to the way Windows 7 leaves all the old monitors in the registry and enumerates new monitors on the end of the list as they're added. If a tower happens to end up connected to an HDMI TV that Windows has "seen before", but with a VGA monitor it hasn't (for example), the screens end up reversed, no matter in which order I connect them, which is a total pain! Delivering a tower is becoming more and more of a "lottery" as they all end up with more and more enumerated monitors in the registries.

The ideal for me would be to be able to quickly remove all enumerated monitors whenever a tower is moved to a new venue, so it always adds the next connected monitor as the only enumerated monitor at Primary Screen 1.

Will CRU do that? If not, can you think of any software or "hack" that will?

Thanks.

You're actually asking two different questions. Neither removes the enumerated monitors (just the EDID information), but running reset-all.exe does remove the connectivity information, which should reset the multi-monitor positioning. Have you tried running reset-all.exe to see if it does what you need?

To actually remove the enumerated monitors, you can use Device Manager and enable "Show hidden devices" in the View menu. Then you can uninstall all of the inactive monitors that are listed. This is separate from the connectivity information, so removing them might not do what you want.

Taking as reference 1920x1080 120hz i tried using the automatic parameters, CVT-RB, CVT, GTF (nvidia customs), and LCD standar, native, reduced and CRT standar (CRU). All of them same effect.

Anyways is strange because switching herz sometimes makes 120hz see correctly and no pixelated, like if TV recognized it and applied the pixel filter...

i attach you the EDID bin file.
