Dell 3410 laptop not displaying new resolution
I have tried to use CRU to add a 1920 x 1080 resolution to a Dell 3410 laptop but it never shows up in the display settings. I have followed all the instructions but it just does not work for me. The native resolution is 1366 x 768 but I would like 1920 x 1080 as some work programs I use are not adapted to the native resolution, for example the lower third of the of the program view cannot be viewed and the program seems zoomed in too much. Not sure if I am missing something here or maybe I am not understanding the use of CRU properly? Any advice would be great!

RE: Dell 3410 laptop not displaying new resolution
Intel's driver often doesn't allow EDID overrides with laptop screens, and you can't add 1920x1080 to a 1366x768 screen anyway because laptop screens normally don't have scalers.

Ah ok fair enough, looks like I’ll just have to live with it for now. Thanks for the info though |
