EDID/DisplayID Writer Beta Crashes
Hi,
I attempted to run EDID/DisplayID Writer Beta on a Windows 10 machine with dual NVS 810 cards. Nothing shows after the run. The event log has messages like: Quote:Fault bucket 1892703208609959927, type 5 Is there anything I can do to fix or help get the problem fixed? |

RE: EDID/DisplayID Writer Beta Crashes
Here's the log.
Also, a message box with the following message showed: Run-Time Check Failure #0 - The value of ESP was not properly saved across a function call. This is usually a result of calling a function declared with one calling convention with a function pointer declared with a different calling convention. |

RE: EDID/DisplayID Writer Beta Crashes
It looks like a UI bug related to older versions of Windows 10 not having certain functions. I don't have an easy way to test anything older than 1809, but I bet the problem is caused by the dark mode functions. Microsoft doesn't provide a way to check if these functions are available, so I'll try adding a version check.
