Eyes. Flatron.
1.How CRU changes affects eyes? At least in theory.

2.R9380, LG Flatron W2442PA and DVI for 1920x1080?
I believe without patch i can have only around 75hz with "LCD reduced"(pixel clock 164.61), but with patch and "LCD standard" i can achieve 120 hz (pixel clock 285.55) but it will be bottlenecked by monitor hardware.

3.Am i wrong/right and what advice can you give about this setup?

Thx ahead!

RE: Eyes. Flatron.
I don't know what you're asking. It shouldn't affect your eyes.

You'll need the pixel clock patch to go beyond 165 MHz pixel clock, but that monitor probably won't accept 120 Hz.

RE: Eyes. Flatron.
Hi, theoretically, Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) changes can affect eye strain, especially with frequent refresh rate adjustments. When you use custom settings your eyes may need to adapt to new frequencies, which can lead to fatigue flickering or blurred images.
About the LG W2442PA setup – yeah, you might reach 120 Hz with the patch, but this monitor might still cap it due to its hardware. So even with that higher refresh you could hit a wall because of the monitor's limitationsWink
