Help with custom resolution Nvidia

I hope this is the right place to ask. I found the CRU utility and I'm trying to create a perfect 23.976 refresh rate on an Nvidia GTX950. When I go to manual mode and put in 23.976, it says actual is 23.977. If I adjust any parameter in manual down one, it goes to 23.976. However I had done a custom resolution awhile back with my old GT430 card and while that worked okay, when I got my wireless HDMI setup, it didn't want to work with the custom resolution, it would keep losing connection every few seconds until I changed back to standard resolution. So the main question is, which parameter if any is the least likely to cause issues if I change it?
