How to force display to 6bpc?
Hi I want to force to 6bpc because i found out my gpu can do 4k60 at 6bpc, but not 8bpc. Thanks

How do I add the option for VSR for AMD Radeon & add 6bpc option?

RE: How to force display to 6bpc?
6 bpc is for DisplayPort only. Why are you using an old driver? A newer driver might allow 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz with YCbCr 4:2:0 if your GPU supports that. VSR requires a newer driver as well, but I don't think your GPU supports VSR with 3840x2160.

RE: How to force display to 6bpc?
@ToastyX Hi thanks for the reply. Check out below screenshot max refresh and res is 3200x1800 46hz any higher hdmi audio cuts out so yeah i want 3840x2160 6bpc 60hz i know its possible, can u help? My gpu is the integrated r7 gfx, supports obviously from the screenshot 4096x2160 but forces minimum 8bps 30hz, but at one point in time it worked at 6bpc at 4096x2160 60hz. Okay so if i cannot get vsr which i know i used to use it on my 390x, which is R600 same as the r7 gfx igpu and the discrete in my laptop the radeon 530 4gb gddr5.

It supports 6bpc on hdmi, i've had it before i didn't take a screenshot of it but it did do 6bpc hdmi 4096x2160 60hz. How do I add the option? Thanks

The only drivers I can use is like latest official 22.6.1 legacy asic from amd or 23.11.1 from r.id, which should I use for vsr and 6bpc?

RE: How to force display to 6bpc?
HDMI does not support 6 bpc. There is no way to add it. If you don't get VSR with 22.6.1, then the GPU doesn't support it. I thought you were using the R9 290 because that's what you mentioned last time.

RE: How to force display to 6bpc?
Sorry you didn't check my screenshots, it's R600, just like R9 290. I'm currently using R7 igpu inside A12-9720P.
I kid you not, I did see 6bpc in advanced windows display settings and 60hz at 4096x2160 over hdmi, so it does work.

How do I manipulate such settings, to test it out bro? Please help.

RE: How to force display to 6bpc?
I already told you there's no way to do 6 bpc with HDMI. Only DisplayPort can do 6 bpc.

Your monitor doesn't have DisplayPort.
