Increasing video cable length

It worked! At least I see only the one detailed resolution "2560x1440@60Hz" having deleted all the other entries so I assume it's all correct. Many thanks. I am very grateful for your help. I'd almost given up hope of seeing this working at full res on a 3 meter cable. I can now stow the short DVI cable.
