RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I just got another one, it claims to be an Audio issue but it's related somehow to this OC. I've been using this exact rig minus the new driver/monitor for several months without issues.
This is the second time in a few minutes I'm trying to post this, while replying to this thread the first time I got another BSOD.. The new error I'm getting is this: http://puu.sh/7C7pz.png I managed to get a pic of the first BSOD for this reply using my phone in time before the PC reboot. Now it's saying "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". And now I got a third BSOD while trying to reply... something like "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION". And now a fourth BSOD, luckily Chrome is saving the reply I'm working on each time so I only have to type a little bit more that it didn't catch. Here was the first BSOD from this reply anyway.. http://puu.sh/7C84t.png I better stop before I get another BSOD.. I'm surprised nobody mentioned how unstable this is. Despite running World of Tanks flawlessly at 60-70FPS maxed out on that 1440p monitor @ 115Hz for a very long time.. it may be that it's just an unstable clock rate. I just find it odd that replying on a forum is causing it but not playing such a resource intensive game. I will try removing that custom driver, as I've read somewhere it's not necessary if I'm not running SLI. The site I bought the monitor from didn't specify that, they said to install it to OC. Bumped down to 105Hz, still BSODs.. When starting a netflix video it will do it occasionally. Now running 96Hz. |
