RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher

I'm running a triple monitor setup with 3 different refresh rates. On my first initial setup, I did a clean driver install (on 347.88) and used the full patcher because I have two 970s. It was working fine at first, until I shut down my computer. Turned it on this morning and noticed my frame rates were all capped at 80fps. Tried forcing certain programs to run on the highest refresh rates, but no luck.Running multiple monitors with different refresh rates won't work well with vsync because the monitors won't be synchronized. The frame skipping test relies on vsync to work properly, but this shouldn't affect games if you're not using vsync. You shouldn't need the patch with the GTX 970 if you're using the NVIDIA control panel to add custom resolutions. If you're using CRU, you only need the regular patch. You shouldn't need the full patch for SLI with the GTX 970. |
