It also deletes the file as you can see only the full version is there when the other was there before. This is not a patcher or driver issue. Something on your system is blocking the patcher from running and deleting it, possibly an antivirus program. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hi ToastyX
First of thankyou very much for your work on this patcher. I have been using an Overlord Tempest for over 15 months now with no problems. However the last Nvidia driver 334.67 and your patcher at the time worked great for 120hz. Every single patcher has worked great over the last year or so. When i upgraded to the latest Nvidia driver 334.89, I have been having problems in all games that i run at 75hz or over. The problems i am getting are freezing ingame for about 3 seconds and it happens every 5 seconds, its happening in all my games that i set the fps cap through Nvidia Inspector. Im trying to rule out what the source is to the problem even when ive reinstalled the 334.67 im still getting the freezing. Ive also ran registry sweeps and Optimized my SSD. Could you please upload or send to me in PM the last Nvidia patcher and not the new one that is displayed at the start of this thread as this was the last known good configuration that worked. I would like to do some testing and conduct a process of elimination to see what is going on here, ill report back here with my findings. If you upload the previous Nvidia patcher for me and i try that with the 334.67 driver and it still freezes then i know that its somethings else on my hand thats causing this. Please help me out and send me the old patcher prior to the current release. Thankyou Regards. |

You should not be having the problem at 75 Hz. In fact, you don't even need the patch to get 75 Hz. The current patcher should be backward compatible with older drivers. The previous version is still up here: https://www.monitortests.com/nvlddmkm-patcher-1.2.4.zip |

This is set at 2560*1440 at 100hz for 24/7 use. Ive tried the Auto reduced setting which gives me a pixel clock of 399mhz. It was working good before at 410.72 mhz until the last nvidia patch. Could it be that i have disabled the Test mode? Or could it be that my monitor Overclock is not as good as it once was? Can you share any of your wider knowledge on this please? cheers |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Test mode is not needed anymore. This is not a monitor issue. It's purely a driver issue. Did you use the full patch?

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Ok i just tested again while using newly fresh installed 334.67 and 1.25 Patcher and i got massive stuttering again.
I will now try 334.67 again but using the 1.24 patcher..... |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
The 1.24 patcher is not able to find the sli limit old and new with the 334.89 driver.
So i tried the 1.25 once again with the 334.89 driver and again it freezes and stutters to the stage were its unplayable. When trying the 334.67 im still getting the "sli limit old and new not found" yet when i tried this when the 334.67 was released with the Nvidia patcher 1.24 the values were found. Why are the values not being found now with 1.24? I install driver. Reboot machine. Run Nvidia full patcher. Reboot machine. Run cru Reboot machine Add Nvidia inspector profiles and setup colour management profiles and play. Im doing everything as i did 12 months ago. The only driver that works for me is the 331.40 with 1.24 Nvidia full patcher. I cannot use the 334.67 or 334.89 for 100hz or massive frezzing occurs. I will now try the 331.40 with 1.25 full patcher.... |

You are mixing up driver versions. The whole point of 1.2.5 was to fix the SLI limits for 334.67. The older patcher could not have found the SLI limits for 334.67. You also said the problem was happening at 75 Hz, which doesn't make sense either. You should be able to get 100 Hz with the "LCD reduced" option even if the SLI limits aren't patched. So far, nobody else has reported problems with SLI and the latest patcher, but it's possible your card is affected by a different limit. I don't have an SLI setup or your particular card, so that makes it hard to figure out what needs to be changed. I will see if I can find something. |

Still on the same one when the program worked. Any ideas for fixes? |
