RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Dude, it worked, you're f****** amazing, honestly, you didn't have to help such a specific issue and you still did anyway, you have no idea how grateful I am, you just made my gaming experience 100% better. Thank you so much dude, I'm donating as soon as I get some money, thanks once again and have a great day

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
The latest drivers (430.39) seems to have broke the patcher for me. This is what the patcher looks like before and after I apply the patch. I know the SL-DVI limit on DL-DVI shouldn't read "not found" and I don't think the HDMI-DVI limit should read "multiple found." After I applied it and restarted I wouldn't get any video to my monitor. I unplugged my DVI, connected my TV to my GPU via HDMI and I got video, but as soon as I plugged my DVI back in it froze and crashed, saying the source of the problem was nvlddmkm.sys. After restoring the unpatched values from backup I no longer had an issue, but without patching I cannot use higher refresh rates. So I'll have to go back to the old driver for the time being. Is this happening to anyone else too?
Edit: Reinstalled the 430.39 drivers, this time doing a clean install to see if that would matter, but the issue still persists. |

One reboot and it's applied. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Using a tempest monitor, gtx titan, 431.60 driver. My issues are the full patch wont work says the driver doesnt need patching( v1.4.7), the non full patch works. My other issue is before i even go to patch after driver install , on restart i get a bios error "vga card not uefi compatible" the mobo goes into legacy mode forcing me to go in and change it back to uefi, after which it starts fine. Anyone else have this driver breaking uefi compatibility ?

Anyone else have this driver breaking uefi compatibility ?The Titan never needed the full patch because it wasn't affected by the SLI limit and isn't a Fermi card, and the current drivers don't have those limits. The driver can't affect UEFI compatibility because that happens outside of Windows. Try disabling the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) in the UEFI settings. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Oh cool, thought the tempest monitor needed the full patch. Yea i wouldnt think the driver would do that but its the only thing that changes when i get that bios error that triggers the csm to turn on. Even wiped and re-installed the driver to confirm, and yes the error happened again. Not really a problem more of a curiosity as it only happens the first restart after this driver installs.
