achieva shimian qh270 trying to overclock it again
Hi guys, I still own an achieva shimian qh270 that is strong as ever but never messed (only to test it) with overclocking it because my setup was not strong enough for an 120hz back there (rx 580 with an i7 4770k) now is a bit different with an i9 11900k (or something like that, and a 5700xt) back there when i had the 580 i bought the lg board to actually do 120hz with a lil artifacts here and there, now in the present i had to buy an active dual dvi to display port because this gpu doesn't have an dual dvi port and i can't overclock it at all, can some one please help me with the timings in CRU (btw some how even when i use restar64 i can't find no change at all, sorry for my English.

RE: achieva shimian qh270 trying to overclock it again
The last time I tried an active DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter with an AMD GPU, it would only allow up to 300 MHz pixel clock at 8 bpc and 400 MHz at 6 bpc, so not enough to get 120 Hz, but 100 Hz should be possible at 6 bpc with "Exact reduced" timing.
With an NVIDIA GPU, the adapter was capable of doing 357 MHz at 8 bpc and 476 MHz at 6 bpc, so enough to get 120 Hz at 6 bpc, but only around 90 Hz at 8 bpc. |
