qx2710 not working with new dvi cable
Hi,
I recently just purchased a new DVI-D cable from here: http://www.123inkcartridges.ca/p-305227-...latedblack but when i try to plug it in this is what the monitor looks like: http://imgur.com/pRpclUF The original cable that came with the monitor works fine, except for the fact when I'm playing games, the screen will tint blue at random times. Example: http://imgur.com/T5OSj2V The monitor is currently plugged into a amd radeon 7970 and is currently at 60hz Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? |

That monitor should only show vertical lines when it's running at the wrong resolution, but changing the cable shouldn't change the resolution. If your video card has two DVI ports, make sure you are using the dual-link DVI port.
The blue tint with the other cable can only happen with a bad connection. If it's not the cable, then the monitor might be defective. |
