Intel GPUs don't support more than 300.99 MHz. The only thing you can do is reduce the totals as low as the monitor will allow.

Is there any way to make my GTX1050 as a default display graphic for monitor? someone said its because Optimus that makes it Intel as a default display graphic for monitor

yes you can do that, device manager>display adapters>intel gpu then right click on it and choose disable device

After I disabled Intel GPU my external monitor instantly went black and only my Laptop display on but using microsoft display instead of using Nvidia Graphics driver as a display. Ive tried disable and re-enable and reinstall nvidia and intel graphics driver but still the problems remain the same

Hi, after a screen replacement my resolution changed down to 1366x768 @ 60Hz. I'm not sure what it was on before but I tried to change it to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz and then 140Hz but both gave me a black screen when I restarted my laptop. I managed to change this back by connecting my laptop to the TV, the screen showed up on there and I reverted the settings. Any idea how I can get to or close to 1920x1080? As the current setup is too zoomed in.

I have a Lenovo 320S 64bit with Intel® UHD Graphics 620.

Are you sure you have a 1920x1080 screen? Laptop screens normally don't have scalers and can't display non-native resolutions, so that makes me think the panel is 1366x768.

No I'm not sure what it was before the screen was replaced but its definitely more zoomed in, so 1366x768 is too low but I can't work out what the original was.

In the Windows display settings, is the scale set to 100%?

Yes on 100% and it won't let me go below that unfortunately

Can you help me set my Surface display to 3000*2000px 50Hz.

I need to have perfect timings, what should I enter in the setting in CRU, and polarity ?
I don't know what to calculate.

By default when I install a fresh windows, it default to 52Hz, do you know why ?
When I bought it was 60hz.

EDIT : I can't change resultion inside the Intel Graphic Control Panel I have this error :
"The custom resolution exceeds maximum bandwidth capacity."
And when I use CRU 1.4.2 I add the resolution 3000*2000*50hz and 3000*2000*25hz, but they do not appear in the Monitor settings, or the intel panel after restart.
I already used CRU befor but I never had this issue on my other computers.
Can you help me. On ubuntu it's a solid 3000*2000*60HZ.

When I click on "list all modes", all the resolution are locked to 52HZ !
And the CRU resolution are not registered.

EDIT : Could it be EDID related ? Because when I don't use any graphic drivers I am not locked to 52HZ ?

What do you mean by perfect timings? 52 Hz is unusual. Have you installed the latest graphics driver?

Yes Latest driver and old also same results. Tried 1709 and 2004, same results.

Did you read the edit I made in my previous post ?

It might be an edid corruption.
Maybe because I updated to the latest bios ?

I have extracted the edid with Entech MonInfo Monitor Asset Manager, and here is what it said :

The EDID doesn't look corrupted. The range limits also says 52 Hz. You can get exactly 50 Hz by changing the vertical total to 2065.
