CRU can only affect external monitors with older Intel GPUs, and you have to use the alternative .exe export method. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hey ToastyX thanks so much for the upload!
One minor inconvenience though, can you offer help or insight please? When monitor goes to sleep, and i turn it back on it is either a lower resolution (goes to 1080p from 4k - did that once) or it's dimmer (greyish overtones or something, isn't working native or something, i went to adapter, windows and changed to 60 hz, from the 59 it was on, and that resulted in proper colors). However every time display sleeps and wakes up, colors / display is messed like that. [quote='ToastyX' pid='12982' dateline='1642005707'] If you don't uninstall the driver before upgrading, then it will keep the current settings. If you do a clean install or use DDU, then you will have to import the changes again. .bin UMC0030.bin (Size: 256 bytes / Downloads: 1) [quote='bobalazs' pid='12978' dateline='1641976265'] |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello. I am having trouble with removing a resolution.
My monitor is 3440x1440 144hz native(BenQ MOBIUZ EX3415R). It has a 3840x2160 mode inbuilt that I want to remove. The issue is that it is only getting removed if I remove the unreadable 'Default Extension Block', but along with it, my native 144hz is also removed. I've tried manually adding 3440x1440 144hz but the utility doesn't allow it(pixel clock limitations?). |

Hey ToastyX, thank you for your work on this tool. I am having trouble enabling 165Hz support in Windows 11 with my W5000 Firepro through DisplayPort. I have just the amd driver installed with AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher patched. I found the settings for 165Hz in the Extension Block CTA-861, and I manually applied them to the Detailed Resolution at the top of the program. I also enabled 8bit color depth. I hit restart64 to reload the driver, go to change the refresh rate settings, but Windows is only showing me 120 Hz. Any help here? |

Your card is too old to support the pixel clock needed for the refresh rate. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Well, that's too bad. Thank you for your reply, guess I'll be sticking with the iGPU or 3080 Ti on this one.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
For some reason CRU isn't showing any of my monitor's resolutions, it just says "no standard resolutions" even though they appear in both Windows' display settings and Nvidia Control Panel. It's also incorrectly showing 59.950 hz even though I'm running at 144 hz. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Pic: https://i.imgur.com/RUpmkyN.jpg
I'm using Windows 11 and a 3070 ti |

CRU is showing what the monitor defines. Look in the extenstion block for 144 Hz. |
