That's not the correct EDID. That EDID is for a Samsung S24F350, a 1080p monitor. I don't know where it's getting 1440x2560 from.

Nvm, there is an app named Second Screen (by samsung) in Microsoft Store, somehow it adds missing resolutions in display settings while screen extending with tablet. Thanks!

Likely that uses its own driver, so that's outside the scope of CRU.

Yes, but if this for a non-CRT monitor, CVT and GTF just waste bandwidth.

I overclocked my monitor from 60Hz to 75Hz. After clicking restart64 my screen shows nothing, just black.Please help me Huh

Hi Toasty. Having an issue with an RX 6600 XT and an RCA 65 inch curved UHD tv and higher resolutions. Before I found out about CRU, anytime I plugged my PC into said tv, the radeon driver would crash with windows saying the resolution of 720x480 was recommended.
Using CRU, I have stopped the driver from crashing, but only at 1920x1080 as I cannot seem to set any other resolution above that using CRU. I have tried various settings with no luck. If I set it to 2560x1440 and restart, it just doesn't set it and stays at 1920x1080. I am using an ultra hispeed HDMI cable from the pc to the tv. If I try to set one using the Radeon settings, it says that res is not compatible with the tv.

Any ideas or thoughts? The res for the tv is supposed to go to RESOLUTION: 3840 X 2160.

I don't understand what you're doing. The driver should not crash when you plug in the TV. Something is seriously wrong. How did you stop the driver from crashing with CRU? You should not have to add any resolutions. The TV should already define the correct resolutions. Trying to add resolutions that should already exist will not work without solving the actual problem first. What does CRU show by default?

Before I found out about cru, whenever I plugged into the tv using hdmi, as soon as I plugged in, the Radeon driver would crash and the ms basic video driver would load. Windows would then say in display settings that 720x480 was the recommended res.
Using cru, I set 1920x1080 using the automatic hdtv settings and it worked. But still, for the life of me, cannot find out why there's no higher resolutions.
Which cru setting are you referring to?
