PG27AQN 25" game mode issues
I'm able to run the PG27AQN at native 2560x1440p @ 360Hz on all games in full screen mode. The 25" mode with 1080p/1332p only seems to work in a few games. CSGO and OW2 both work in 1080p/1332p at 360Hz in both the 25" mode and full screen 27". Apex Legends for example doesn't seem to work properly with either 1080p or 1332p in either 25" or the default 27" mode. The OSD shows the monitor in 2560x1440p @ 144Hz. What's even more strange is when I put ingame to 1600x900 which is not a supported resolution in the documentation for the monitor the OSD shows 1920x1080p @ 360Hz.

I've tried reinstalling gpu drivers, monitor drivers, reset monitor settings and game settings but haven't had any luck. This did not happen with my previous ASUS MG279Q. I could run any resolution/refresh rate I wanted to.

I have the default display scaling settings in the Nvidia control panel. I tried using GPU for scaling but that doesn't work due to DSC. Think that also rules out custom resolutions in CRU.

I know some users have reported they're able to run 25" mode in Apex but I'm not sure what else I can change.

Export a file using CRU and attach it here.

The file is missing the extension blocks. I can't figure see what's going on without them. I'm getting tired of dealing with NVIDIA. CRU is supposed to be able to read the extension blocks. I don't know what NVIDIA broke this time because I don't have the hardware to test this.

Sorry about that, is that something I did wrong on the export? Or because I’m running an Nvidia card?

No, it's NVIDIA's driver. I will have to make something for you to run to figure out why CRU can't read the extension blocks.

Thanks. I'm not sure what's to blame with this issue, the game itself, the monitor driver, Nvidia's driver.. not sure. I put a ticket to ASUS and they keep telling me to submit tickets to each game developer lol. Although it's specific to a few games, this is the only monitor I've run into trouble with.

I've also tried Fortnite and Valorant and both are broke with 1080p/1332p.
