RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Hi, i have same problem as guy above... i got error message: Failed to locate driver file
i did fresh install of Windows 10, all updates latest, i have RX 6800 XT with latest drivers, before installation of GPU i did DDU in safe mode, but still i have this error message and im not able to patch it. So can you help? But i wonder if i really needs it, because i have Corsair Xeneon Flex 240hz monitor through DP 2.0 at least that Bios signature check: what is it and is it necessary? Cause i normally use CRU but i have some problems with overclock my monitor, which i had not, now it behaves weird, so i thought its because of this ATI patcher isnt applied. Any way how to manually use bios signature alone without ATI patcher? |

There's no reason to use the patcher with your setup. The patcher does nothing for DisplayPort, and the BIOS signature patch is for allowing custom BIOS modifications with Polaris GPUs only. |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Hello, I have a problem with the latest Amernime drivers, when trying to patch the bios the error appears "failed to locate driver file".
The error appears when trying to install the beta package drivers that are the most updated in amernime. When installing an older version of those drivers the error does not appear. It must be related to the new drivers in the beta packages |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
The link to the beta driver on their site is broken. The patcher works with 23.9.2, which is the latest official driver that supports Polaris and Vega GPUs. I can't test newer versions because I don't have a newer GPU, but the patcher shouldn't be needed with newer GPUs anyway. The patcher is mainly for DVI and HDMI limits with older GPUs and the BIOS signature check with Polaris GPUs.

Stick with the official 23.11.1 for now. |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher

I see, is there any way to circumvent this in any shape or form? |
