RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
First i'll like to say, thanks so much for the tool! .
The only problem i have is that the tool does not seem to recognize anything past 4095 Horizontal pixels. I downsampled my 21:9 2560x1080p Dell Monitor to 5120x2160 30Hz for benchmarking purposes, but applications do not recognize the refresh rate, so i was trying to set it through CRU as usual, but it turns red whenever i input 5120 Could you increase the limit on the tool? Or is it something that can't be done. Either ways, thanks a lot |

Use this test with a camera to check if the TV is skipping frames: http://www.testufo.com/#test=frameskipping |

This could be caused by an antivirus program doing something weird, or it could be a CRU bug. This would be hard to debug without seeing it happen myself. Other resolutions would have to be scaled, and it's up to the monitor whether or not it can scale down higher resolutions. It's possible to do scaling on the GPU, but not with CRU. CRU only deals with monitor resolutions. Since you have an NVIDIA GPU, you can use this process: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=509076 |
