CRT - Correct mode line for 3D
I use this software to drive my Nvidia IR emitter and shutter glasses.
http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~zwood/teac...1/rsomers/ I need to find the correct Linux mode line to make my CRT monitor work correcly with the glasses. At the moment I'm using the following: Code: # 1600x1200 84.95 Hz (CVT 1.92M3) hsync: 107.21 kHz; pclk: 235.00 MHz The stereo works well but only in the upper part of the image. (see attached) What value do I have to change to make it fill in the whole screen? |

RE: CRT - Correct mode line for 3D
I don't think it's a modeline issue. If you're only seeing the top of the screen through the glasses, then the shutters are not staying open long enough.
3D Vision was meant to be used with certain LCD monitors. Both LCD and CRT monitors refresh from top to bottom, but LCD monitors stay lit during the entire refresh, while CRT monitors start to fade immediately while refreshing. With an LCD monitor, the shutters only stay open for part of the refresh to reduce ghosting in the middle of the screen by giving the pixels some time to transition before opening the shutters. With a CRT monitor, the shutters need to stay open for the entire refresh to get the full image. You would need to find a way to control how the shutter glasses work to make this work with a CRT. |
