For 120 Hz, try using CRU to add it as a detailed resolution using the "LCD reduced" timing option. That might help with the flickering and artifacts. Thank you for the patch !!! it really works well, i have achieved 120hz on an hdmi cable with 2 adapters(1 hdmi-dvi) and one hdmi-dp lol, was with allot of artifacts and flickering but at least. Unfortunately i had to return this monitor and buy another one that has DP port to have the 144hz option, since my gpu doesnt have a dvi port. I have one question: i have strange vertical transparent lines when i move the mouse in every game, mostly noticable in counter-strike global offensive, its not because of the drivers, i tried 3 different versions, tried switing to another port on my gpu, those lines are static,as if they are there but get noticable when i move the mouse around. When the image is still i dont see them. Its strange, maybe some interference ? I'm kinda new to 144hz and DP so yeah.Any ideas would be appreciated.Currently usinga 1m DP-DP cable from Lindy.thank you very much !!! Keep up the good work my friend and May the Force be with you! cheers |

The drivers are 16.1 on win7 on r290.You need to use CRU to override the extension block because AMD's driver also listens to the maximum TMDS clock in the HDMI support data block. |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
latest patcher and the crimson 16.3.1 driver. Still works but it doesn't find that value. |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
They changed the 640x480 limit to 400x400 for some reason. This only matters if you're trying to add very low resolutions with Radeon Settings.

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Hello!
I'd like to thank you for this tutorial but I tried a lot of things and i cant make it work I reverted back to 16.1 due to 16.3.1 not being supported, patched everything, rebooted and applied the CRU. I managed to get from 60->74hz stable. But when i go to the UFO-TEST website, it only shows 60hz... Am I doing anything wrong? I'm using a DVI-D Dual link from my R9 390 to my monitor. Also, does HDMI work, or just DVI? The cable is from a friend that has a 144hz panel, so I know the cable works for high refreshes EDIT: This is my monitor LG 24MP67VQ-P |

You shouldn't need the patch with HDMI if you include HDMI support in the extension block, but the patch is needed with DVI beyond 165 MHz pixel clock because 1920x1080 60 Hz monitors can only handle single-link DVI signals, but the video card will send a dual-link DVI signal beyond 165 MHz without the patch. |

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Even if i apply lower Hz, like 30 or 50hz it still shows 60hz on the testufo website
