Opening CRU i can see the 144hz setting is there. Trying to add a 140hz does NOT work, but adding a 111hz did work and showed up.

I don't think your video card supports pixel clocks greater than 600 MHz. Was it working before Windows 10?

I don't believe so, this is what is currently displayed.

Then either your TV does not have HDMI 2.0 enabled, or you enabled it after saving an override with CRU. Run reset-all.exe and reboot to make sure.

That seems to be True.
   
Pixelclock of 600 is the maximum, resulting in 132.291hz
Oh, but because 3840*1080*32*132 is 17'517'772'800 which is slightly above DP1.2 Speccs it goes down to 8bit.
126mhz seems to be closest possible with 10bit.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get my GTX 1080 to output 4k 120 Hz over HDMI 2.0?

At very least with standard timings, 2160p 4:2:0 120 Hz should fit within the HDMI 2.0 bandwidth limitations, and with reduced blanking, 2160p 4:2:2 120 Hz should also fit. 2160p 4:4:4 120 Hz obviously does not fit.

I've tried using CRU, but it doesn't seem to be possible to specify a 2160p 120 Hz resolution at any chroma other than 4:4:4 (RGB).

Does anyone know if there's any way to get 2160p 120 Hz at different chromas?

I just bought the PG258Q and I can't use 120Hz with HDMI...

I haven't bought a new computer yet, I'm still using the Asus ROG GL552VW with a GTX 960M 2GB (no DisplayPort).

I was told by asus support that my computer supported 120Hz over HDMI. Both the monitor and my computer have HDMI 1.4.

I already tried to use this tool, but unsuccessfully...

Does anyone got any tips?

While it technically fits within bandwidth limitations, I don't currently know of a way to define custom 4:2:0 resolutions.

I’m trying to figure out how to send a 3840x1600 HDR signal from my pc to my epson 5040ub projector. I use an anamorphic lens for a 2.35 screen. This PJ won’t accept anything above a 4k60 4.2.0 8 bit signal, and that’s why I use an HDfury linker to downsample the HDR. Problem is, I can’t seem to get HDR and the custom res to work; it only wants to work in 4k. Is CRU the tool I need to make this work? Can I somehow force HDR with this custom resolution? Like I said, the linker will bring the HDR down to an accepted format for the PJ so it can be a 4.4.4 HDR signal. Only other thing I need it to do is pass thru audio for an Atmos receiver. Thanks in advance!

Trying to get 1920x1080 added in for my screen resolution but after restarting drivers and pc the resolution isnt displaying as an option. My moniter is a LG E2351VR which is by default 1920x1080 but in a recent windows update the monitor shifted its resolution and removed the option for 1080.
