RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi guys! I've tried the CRU with this televisor:
Samsung SMART TV 3D UE37ES6300 200hz With 75, 80, 120, 200 hz ... Only the 200hz doesn't appeared in the screen resolution menu of windows 8 ... the others yes, but no one works. Are there other solutions? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi there. I've tried CRU with my Samsung Syncmaster T260 (1920x1200@60Hz) hooked up to a HD5850, but 62Hz using any sync/porch setting produces artifacts on the left side of the screen. For 63Hz synching fails.
This monitor might just fail a lot, but given that it supports 1920x1080@75Hz out of the factory, there should at least be hope for more than 61Hz at 1200. Does anyone have an idea what direction I should be heading in? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Just found this thread. Hopefully this can fix the issue I'm having with my 47" Westinghouse and HDMI connection from pc. Nvidia control panel always defaults to an "HD" resolution of 1920x1080p, but everything looks over-sharpened (is the best way i could describe it). The shadow around text in the title bar of a window looks incorrect, for example. If i go into the nvidia utility and manually change resolution from 1080P "HD" to 1920x1080 "PC" everything looks perfect! However, every time a game is loaded or the pc sleeps, the resolution goes back to 1080p HD. The same thing happened with my old gtx 610 and my new 650ti. I have been using a regular vga cable for now.
I'll give this a try when I get home! Thanks! |

Most TVs only support 60 Hz input. So there aren't anymore? I should use only the 60hz input? D: |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have noticed that when I set high refresh rates such as 120 or 115, the colors appear much less bright and vibrant than when I set 60Hz. I am using a Radeon HD 6970 and an QNIX QX2710LED (2560x1440).
Has anyone else had problems with colors? Does anyone know how to fix this? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
It's a known consequence of OC-ing the QNIX. Apparently you just need to adjust the colors from your AMD control panel. To make the color changes stick in games, however, you need to use something like a SweetFX injector
