I tested 75hz to be perfectly stable, and 76hz and up would introduce a pink one or two pixel wide line down the right vertical edge of the screen. I tried a bit of mucking around with the more advanced pixel settings, like adding extra to the backporch and/or total pixels, but nothing seems to get rid of the darn pink vertical line. Have you had experience with removing this via adding more to the total horizontal pixel count?
You want to reduce the totals, not add to them. That will reduce the pixel clock, which reduces the bandwidth. If the line only appears with the adapter, then the adapter has trouble handling higher pixel clocks.

ToastyX can you do a native 3840x2160p 30hz profile for me on this TV. I'll import it to your program.

This 4k display has 1080p as native and its screwing up my resolution choices because of it.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello everyone. I'm running a 1440p X-Star, which I tried to overclock it to 96Hz. After restarting my computer, the resolution automatically switched to 1920x1080. I go into Catalyst, but there is no option for 2560x1440.

I got the Changhong to do 1440p at 60hz! via the CRU method. Thanks Toasty

Two question..

Why does my HDMI says DVI as source? I'm still using HDMI...

I'm stuck in PC mode on the TV because of this..

And why does it look blurry?

LOL

Any idea why it says DVI when I'm still on HDMI?

Just add 3840x2160 @ 30 Hz as the first detailed resolution using the "LCD standard" timing option.

You need to import the hdmi.dat or hdmi-audio.dat file for HDMI support.

That would only happen if you removed 2560x1440 @ 60 Hz and didn't patch the driver for 96 Hz.
