Yes, assuming the TV will accept 3840x1600 @ 60 Hz. If not, you'll have to use GPU scaling.

Then I said make 87 Hz the first detailed resolution, and get rid of all the other resolutions, but your screenshot shows you didn't do this. You have 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz in there twice. Get rid of all the established and standard resolutions just to make sure the driver isn't mixing up any other resolutions. Just have 87 Hz and 60 Hz as detailed resolutions.

If the problem still happens after that, try a lower refresh rate like 85 Hz or 75 Hz.

Sorry about confusion.
I only used NVIDIA Control Panel to get the numbers for CRU, then i never used custom resolutions through NVIDIA Control Panel. For all tests after i found this issue i turned off DSR (so issue present with or without it).
About 60Hz: when i have default timing on 60 and custom on 87 i can get rid of artifacts by witching to 60 and back to 87; if i have custom timing on both 60 and 87 this trick doesn't work. By strange resolution i meant one with not 16:9 ratio (cause i only had option to test it with XIII and dosbox, but then i find out that in gta 5 i can turn on something line 1680x1050 at 60 and issue gonna be triggered again).

Screenshot shows the setting i settled with after trying everything you said... well i guess everything except i forget to set 87Hz as my first detailed resolution (or i set it when tv resolutions was on), because now i tried setting 87 as firs detailed and deleting everything except 60 and it works.

Hello,
I am using Y50-70 Laptop (Lenovo) with mix of NVIDIA and intel graphic driver. Native solution is 4K, 48Hz, and 1080p 60Hz according to Lenovo. However, my laptop is locked at 48Hz, Lenovo promised to release a BIOS to fix it years ago so I assume they wouldn't do it ever.
I've tried overclocking using this program but it does not work (I'm running Win 10-64bit), 48Hz is still the only option.
I also tried custom resolution in Intel HD settings but it resulted in "the custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity".
I'm using GeForce GTX 860M, Intel® HD Graphics 4600 all latest driver.

As a Qnix 2710 owner, I want to enable freesync on my monitor for 40-100hz range so bad. 60hz is simply not enough for me.

Is there any progress to use dual-link DVI with freesync yet? Do you think it can be implemented anytime soon? If not, I will be looking for a new monitor.

I have no clue what i am doing wrong but ive been trying this out for hours on end trying to get this to work. I have an HP 27es 1920x1080 ips and i feel like ive tried everything to try to get this freesynce and nothing has worked can anyone give some insight on what could be the issue?

ive been only able to push it to 61HZ and crimson wont let turn freesync on

i current use 7800 radeon crossfire

Is there a way to use Nvidia Surround with 3 overclockable monitors (2x QX2710 and 1x Yamakasi Catleap) on a custom refresh rate? When Nvidia Surround is enabled I can only see 60 Hz.

Can I modify EDID of my monitor? I can set 100hz now with DP from your help, but I didn't set 100hz because color depth is fixed on 6 bpc. Below 89hz, I can set 8 bpc. I want fix this problem. Also, My screen bezel is get some truncation with FreeSync (About 4 pixels). You have fix solution? I did attach screenshots. (FreeSync on/off)

Hey guys. Thanks for this program it's really good, sorry for my first post asking for help but I am confused on some stuff.

So I have a Vizio 4k TV. It can support 120hz @ 1080p perfectly fine, but that isn't a default option.

So I went in under Detailed Resolution and added LCD-Native 1920x1080 120hz.

First of all is that the correct way to do it or should I be using LCD-Standard? But more importantly are these HDMI blocks. I don't understand what those are or whether or not I need them lol. Thanks.

TVs usually want "LCD native" in that case.

You'll need the HDMI support data block for HDMI to work correctly.

That's not an EDID problem. 2560x1440 @ 100 Hz at 8 bpc requires DisplayPort 1.2. Either your monitor is not reporting itself correctly, or it doesn't support DisplayPort 1.2 speeds.

That's a monitor problem. Either it's not reporting the correct timing parameters, or there's a firmware bug. You can try changing the timing parameters to see if that helps, but I don't know what will work with that monitor.
