RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
Hello, I've downloaded the patcher and it seemed to work because when I opened it back it asked me if I wanted to restore to default settings wich I did not. My question is: Why I don't have access to more than 400 000khz pixel clock in amd advanced settings after the patching? I tried to overclock my TV with cru and I can see the 60hz refresh rate appear in my screen res tab but when I click on it I lose the signal.
here are some specs;

Windows Version
Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) (64 bit)

CPU Type
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Graphics Chipset
AMD Radeon ™ R9 380 Series

TV Roku NS-43DR710CA17 (3840x2160@60hz native)
(75hz max reported refresh rate by amd settings)

I'm using a Display port 1.2 to 2.0 HDMI active adapter and a HDMI 2.0 cable

Do you mean in the old additional settings? That's a limitation in the UI, not the driver itself.

The patch does nothing for DisplayPort limits, and HDMI 2.0 only has enough bandwidth for 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz. Higher refresh rates are probably not going to work.

I have bsod issue when the 6th GPU is installed.
'Attempt to execute noexecute memory'
My cards - rx570. Modded bios. When I use bios signature patcher with 6th card onboard I have bsod. When I unplug the 6th card win10 boots but one card is not patched - error 43 (4 are patched). The same with 4 cards plugged. 3 working - one not. I have managed to boot win10 with 5 cards onboard two times, but after restart again one card gets error code 43.
Drivers 17.4.3. With older drivers and rx470 everything worked fine, but rx570 requires 17.4.3.
I've spent 2 days to resolve this issue and failed. Please help. I have tried every single step I've read on this forum. Nothing worked.

I have the same problem.

6x RX 470 no problem but 5x-6x 570 error 43 Sad

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
I only provide a patch to get around the BIOS signature check and certain resolution limits. I can't fix driver bugs. Report driver bugs to AMD: http://www.amdsurveys.com/se.ashx?s=5A1E27D23A3DE979

I have the same problem too. 17.4.4 - not help.
5x470 Win10 16.12.2 moded BIOS + patch = work fine
5x470 + 1x570 Win10 17.4.3 or 17.4.4 moded BIOS + patch = not work

I reinstalled the drivers at the same level and reapplied the patch but continue to get the BSOD. Any possible way this could be caused by the patcher since it was written to support an earlier version of the driver? The patch always seems to work with no issues and I assume it validates the code offset before applying the patch.

I just want to add some of my experience over the past few days regarding some of the 6 GPU bugs.

The newest AMD drivers which support the RX 580 seem to cause the "NOEXECUTE MEMORY" BSOD with the 6th GPU (starting with the RX 580 Press Driver). A workaround I'm using for now is to use Ubuntu instead. I'd prefer using Windows, and one possible solution to this problem is to flash RX 480 BIOS onto the RX 580 and use v 16 drivers again. This could be possible because the RX 480 does accept RX 580 BIOS, so could work the other way around. If someone with a dual-bios switch could test this, that would be greatly appreciated!

Error code 43 can be circumvented with registry hacks in some cases.
Taken from various sources (such as https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=12485)

Open up regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\
Under here you'll see a key for each adapter (0000, 0001, 0002, etc)
For each adapter key, add the DWORD value "DisplayLessPolicy" with Data "1" and
DWORD value "LimitVideoPresentSources" with Data "1".
This will limit desktop extension and hardware acceleration and such, so if any of these adapters are used as a primary display needing acceleration (to watch videos or play games, not needed just to display desktop), then omit these hacks on the corresponding adapter.
EDIT: if the card still shows "Error code 43" on reboot, try disabling the card and re-enabling it via device manager

Really glad that custom resolutions once again remain enabled. Enabling/disabling GPU scaling was freezing my system half the time

RE: AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher
I've recently used your tool to allow windows to recognize my GPU's after I modded them for ETH mining. I'm now using my original GPU which is unmodded and I'm getting very poor gaming performance. Is there anything I can do to undo the changes this program made on my computer? I'm running a Rx480 8gb if that helps anyone.

The program I used must have been a little older because it doesn't have a restore defaults button that I've seen you post about.
