Adjusting H-position on Plasma TV, without setting
Ive got a 42" VIERA Plasma 1080p HDTV from 2008(model TH-42PZ80U)
and am having an issue where everything on the screen is pushed 50 pixels to the left (when used with a pc, the start button is off the left side of the screen, and I have a black bar on the right) I tried to overclock the display previously with the Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) but as I have now read; plasma's don't overclock. and have reset everything. however the 'issue' persist. (it may not even be related, because it only happened hours after the reset) Is there any way to force the H-position, since the TV's firmware didn't come with V-position, and H-position settings? I have 0 visible USB ports, and no firmware update listed for my model. |

RE: Adjusting H-position on Plasma TV, without setting
That sounds like an issue with the TV. It seems to be a common issue with older Panasonic TVs:
http://www.avsforum.com/forum/167-plasma...een-2.html http://www.avsforum.com/forum/167-plasma...-help.html The position can't be adjusted through software unless the horizontal timing parameters can affect the position, which usually isn't the case with digital displays, and the default timing parameters should already be positioned correctly anyway. |
