Can someone help me understand and tell me how to change "refresh cycle" to 240??
Hey, can someone explain to me how does this refresh cycle works? I have my monitor at 240Hz but at 1920x1080 but when I watch the framadata i get a 0.015ms~ on the desktop (It goes lower if I lower the resolution) which 0.015ms x 1000fps = 16ms~ which is really a high display input delay. I use a 3060ti and a AW2521HF monitor. is this a monitor/cable limitation? gpu limitation? or do I completly just have the wrong timings because I can't get past 600 in pixel clock. If I do a really absurdly low res like even below 800x800 it goes to 0.000ms and my inputs are optimally responsive.
Im trying to understand how all this works so please correct me if im just lost and thank you. "To speed up frame delivery for a lower refresh rate (on a high Hz monitor), you ideally want a large blanking interval (a huge separator between refresh cycles). For a 240 Hz monitor, it means it is possible to have a 120Hz refresh cycle delivered in 1/240sec, or a 60Hz refresh cycle in 1/240sec. " I read this from blurbusters but I just don't understand. English isn't my native |
