This monitor should have a native resolution of 3440x1440, but I don't see it in Windows 10.That means your hardware doesn't support the pixel clock required for the resolution. This is usually the case with laptops that have Intel GPUs. If you can use DisplayPort, use that instead. If not, try adding 3440x1440 @ 56 Hz. |

CRU is the only thing I've found that changes the res but stays crisp (even if only for a second). That's not the same problem. Laptops usually don't support non-native resolutions without GPU scaling. See if Intel's graphics control panel has scaling options. |

Now nothing launches, and every time I launch an executable to fullscreen outside the desktop, my monitor states that the timings are incorrect for every resolution I have and shuts off. This includes the stock refresh rates (60, 120, 164) that came with the monitor. The monitor might not support other refresh rates, but I don't see why that would affect the stock refresh rates. All I can think of is it might be related to FreeSync, but FreeSync is supposed to use the refresh rate you set as the base. Maybe it's an NVIDIA driver bug. |

Windows update might have updated the driver to a newer version that has the problem. |

I ordered a USB-C to DisplayPort cable yesterday. Should arrive today. I'll keep you posted! |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello,
The software works fine on my pc, but when I shut down the pc and turn it on again the screen resolution configuration returns to the basic one and not the one I had configured in the software and a parameter graphic. When I restart it stays, but when I stop the pc and turn it back on it doesn't stay. Can you help me please ? I use a HDMI cable. Thank you in advance ! |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Just got a Acer Predator X25, 360Hz Monitor. Trying to get a 1750 x 1080 stretched res setup. I used the same method with my BenQ ZOWIE XL2546s 240hz and it worked perfectly. Although when trying to use it with this monitor, the resolution doesn't show up in the "list all modes" area and ultimately doesn't let me use the resolution. I also noticed I can't input 360hz, the text turns red and doesn't let me confirm. Also 360hz doesn't show up in the extension block, another user said to check the display tab but there's nothing there. Considering returning the monitor, I have been getting stutters and FPS drops, I want to see if I can get this thing to stretched res to see if it fixes the stutters.
Specs: Ryzen 9 3900x RTX 2070s 32GB 3200mhz Ram X570 Crosshair VIII Hero |
