CRU doesn't control stretching. Just use whatever works.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have an issue and there's no 144hz in my ASUS VP249QGR monitor, I can only see 120hz and not 144hz

I downloaded CRU and I can see 144hz, however I cannot see it in my Intel Control Panel, what should I do?

I am using ASUS GL552vw laptop

i've added 144hz setting in the CRU but when i go in the monitor windows settings it doesn't appear, if i cancel those that already there are windows monitor settings show the changes but with new one no, and even if i edit the standard monitor settings in CRU they desappers in windows monitor settings

this laptop should have 144hz monitor according with official Asus site but i can't set above 60hz

Why are you adding 144 Hz when it should already be there? Talk with ASUS support because you shouldn't have to add 144 Hz if the laptop supports it.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
i tried to overclock my laptop monitor to 90 hz. athough i was successful but bit depth rate decreased from 8 bit to 6 bit and my display looks a bit pale and pixelated. What am i doing wrong. At 75hz overclock it is 8bit. My display default refresh rate is 60hz. Is there any setting which i should change in detailed resolution to retain 8 bit depth at 90 hz ?
