I don't have a way to test NVIDIA at the moment. YES! 80 Hz Works with CRU! Added 80 Hz with LCD Standard (resulting in 325.53 PClock) |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have a 60 hz monitor which can go up to 75 when using 1152x864 etc. I installed CRU and created a new detailed resolution (1920x1080 74hz) and selected LCD - Standard for timing. The 74 hz works, but the sides go offscreen on every resolution. What should I do?

The only thing you can do is try other timing parameters, but if the standard/native/reduced presets don't work, then it probably can't do it. |

I also was using 1728x1080 74 hz as a custom res in-game. But now it only shows up when I use 60, does this mean it got kinda damaged so I can't use 75 anymore? Update: When I use LCD - Native it doesnt go offscreen but is blurry instead |

(06-26-2020 06:11 PM)ineedsumhelp Wrote: Yes, it's VGA. My monitor is ASUS VS228DEThe problem with VGA is the monitor has to guess where the pixels are, and VGA monitors tend to automatically adjust after every resolution change, so changing to an unsupported resolution might mess up the alignment. Pressing the auto adjust button should fix the alignment. |
