Hi Toasty, i've use this program on the same pc before, and its working fine, but when i reset the pc, somehow the cru program dont work anymore, in default i got 165hz monitor, but my pc only show 120hz, so i use cru to reduce the res and higher the refresh rate, its working well. But now, i try to do the same after reset pc, it wont work , maybe if u know there is some settings that i need to do to make it work? thanks

Details please. What monitor? What GPU? HDMI? DisplayPort? What does CRU show? What do you mean it doesn't work? Is it not listed in the Windows display settings?

Anything is safe to delete, but I don't know if anything uses the data. What is the vendor ID?

Any harm in leaving the 'Extension Override' gone, or am I best running a CRU 'Re-set-all' (assume that'll pop it back?).

It doesn't matter since it's not taking effect anyway. Running reset-all.exe will bring it back, but since CRU can't read the additional extension blocks currently, it should be deleted when making an override. When CRU is updated to read the additional extension blocks, then it won't need to be deleted, but it shouldn't matter if it is deleted. Currently NVIDIA's driver seems to ignore EDID overrides from monitors with the extension override data block, so I haven't updated anything yet. I haven't decided how the UI should handle this because it's a confusing concept to have a data block override the main extension block count, but this is something the latest HDMI standard came up with for some reason.

That's NVIDIA's ID. I'm not sure if it's used for anything. Maybe something to do with G-SYNC.

Indeed. I deleted it and G-SYNC disappeared from the NVIDIA Control Panel. That explains it.

I have a LG C4 and I'm trying to delete the 4096x2160 resolution but Extension blocks does not display any CTA for me to edit. Anyone have any idea why? https://i.imgur.com/3lY6UBE.png

What GPU? Why are you using 1.5.1?

4090, I did not realize there was a 1.5.2. Now that I'm trying 1.5.2 I see the CTA. So that was my bad!
