The RX 580 doesn't support HDMI 2.1.Didn't think about RX 580 support of HDMI 2.1 I did all the changes, will take a look. Noticed a weird monitor behavior - monitor darkens an output image even on th Win10 desktop but the cursor itself remains with previous brightness. Even if i increase brightness from the monitor menu it is still much darker and almost no brightness increase after that. Reboot helps to solve it. Maybe i didn't reboot PC after CRU manipulations, maybe i did some other changes, who knows . |

It happens randomly when the driver loads if there's an EDID override. If it happens on boot, you can press Ctrl-Shift-Win-B to refresh the desktop. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi, how do I straight up, Delete "Greyed Out Data Blocks" in Detailed Resolutions in Extension Block or why do i have to delete everything including hdmi audio to get the new resolution work & show up in Resolution Display Settings?
R9 290 = HDMI 1.4A = up to 3840x2160 @ 38hz I've tested it. My display 3840x2160@60 support HDMI 2.0. Hisense 43A6H 4k 43 inch tv. |

You shouldn't have to delete anything. Your TV doesn't support HDMI 2.0 according to what you showed me. It only supports 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz with YCbCr 4:2:0. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi, I can't set the 3840x1620 ultrawide resolution on my 4K monitor, maintaining the right proportions without stretching.
To be precise, creating it with NVCP and also with SRE I can, but since they don't allow me to set it as a native resolution, I have no way to apply NIS/FSR to it. So I use CRU to set it as native by moving it above, but then it remains stretched and not with the right proportions; I also tried to eliminate everything else, finding myself with only this resolution available, but I still didn't solve it. How can I solve it? |
