Are you using HDMI? You can delete the extension block and make your own. As long as 24 Hz doesn't exist in CRU, it shouldn't exist at all. If you're using HDMI, you'll need to include HDMI support. You can import hdmi-audio.dat to take care of that. If the TV supports HDMI 2.0 (required for 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz), then you'll need to manually add an HDMI 2.0 data block as well (default settings are fine). |

The pixel clock is limited to two decimal places, so it's not always possible to get an exact value. Even if it's exact, there's no guarantee the hardware clock would match perfectly. Just use whatever works. "LCD native" just uses the 60 Hz "LCD standard" timing parameters because that sometimes helps with TV resolutions. I also have a tool for calculating the totals necessary to get exact refresh rates: https://www.monitortests.com/pixelclock.php |

Ive tried literally every setting and cant get it any higher.2560x1440 @ 60 Hz monitors with scalers are usually not overclockable. |

I'm using recommended drivers from thread - 15.40, but still can't get anything above 60hz (out of range error on monitor). Any advice? Sorry if questions like this to annoyingTo get higher refresh rates with that monitor, you need to use DisplayPort, not HDMI. |

Now i´ve upgraded my rig and i have adquired a 1070 from NVIDIA and i´m capable of create a new profile of the monitor with the CRU at 75 Hz as well as with the NVIDIA control panel, but it doesnt work nicely. Both of them work with the same kind of weirdness. That monitor requires FreeSync to get 75 Hz. Without FreeSync, it acts like a 60 Hz monitor and skips frames at higher refresh rates. |
