What problem is it causing with the second display #3? Your screen shot is showing the display is not active, so it shouldn't be causing problems. Have you set one of the other two displays as the primary display? What happens if you disable the soundbar "monitor" in Device Manager? What about if you connect the soundbar to the NVIDIA card? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Well, there are several problems related to this issue. As far as the 2nd monitor, it's reading 1920x1080 on display, but in actual fact, it's active signal is the 4096, so the screen display is far too large and when the bogus display is active, there's no way to change the Active Signal Resolution. Yet, that's just one problem. Like I said, this is also causing a problem with my Optane Memory, the UHD is tied up on something it shouldn't and I can't load my UHD display. Also, since both the active monitors are using the NVidia, there's a problem with programs opening. I wind up having to keep both monitors running to see which screen the software will open on. Some of my software won't open at all. Will reinstalling Windows 10 solve this? The soundbar monitor is inactive and it doesn't help. Also, I checked Device Manager and the Soundbar is setup under sound on my Bluetooth Enumerator. I can't get it to work over HDMI. Yet, my system is reading 3 monitors.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Question... as I said in the Device Manager, 3 monitors are listed. If I can isolate that particular monitor (soundbar) can I simply detach that monitor in the Device Manager? Would that not solve the display problem at the same time? Now I don't want to uninstall my soundbar, just that 3rd monitor listed. Is that possible?

I have a really old monitor, but it seems to be working most of the time. However, sometimes it ends only covering half of the screen, I have full panel checked in my GPU settings also. HDMI scaling fixes the issue, but cause lag. Don't understand why half the time it works and half the time it does not. Thanks.CRU does not deal with scaling. It's up to the monitor to scale the resolutions unless you use GPU scaling. Sometimes using different timing parameters can affect the way the monitor scales. What resolution are you trying to scale? What is the native resolution of the monitor? The native res of the monitor is 1920x1200. Been using it for 1444x1080 and 1154x1080. Have messed around with my monitor settings too, no luck. |

You might have better luck with 1600x1200 if you need a 4:3 resolution. |

Also using the same timing as 1920x1200. Thanks for the help! |
