RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have a Sharp 80UH30U and have been trying to get CRU to work all night. This model has the full HDMI 2.0 spec on all ports. My GPU is a TXP and I am using Driver update 430.64 and I have patched it with nvlddmkm-patcher-1.4.6.
I have been able to set custom presets for 75hz/120hz/144hz at both 1080p/1440p. My TV confirms the change and the UFO test also confirms it, but it doesn't look any different than 60hz, unlike the Sony I had. Is there anyway to get higher refresh rates than 60hz? Am I doing something wrong? |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi!
I'm trying to enable freesync but when I try to edit the block, the Freesync option is simply greyed out. I've attached a screenshot here of how that looks. Apologies if this has been answered earlier! I have an RX 480 connected to a QNIX 2710 Multi True 10 monitor Thanks ![]() |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Is it safe for the HDTV to input manual values based on Pixel Clock Calculator? or should be always use the LCD standard template? Basically I don't want to put much strain to the panel since I will be changing rates frequently per game emulators.

That won't affect anything that would harm the panel. |

Apologies if this has been answered earlier! You need at least 9 bytes left to add a FreeSync data block. That monitor is not going to support FreeSync anyway. |

So the "LCD Standard" is just a formalism we shouldn't care at all? Also wanted to ask if what is shown in the image is correct. The Nvidia Control Panel shows for my PC monitor the modelines I set for my HDTV, this causes me some issues when loading content on my PC. Did I miss something? https://pasteboard.co/IfMcjbB.png |

Did I miss something? Is it showing the added resolutions on both the PC monitor and the HDTV? That has to be a driver bug. |
