Help Overclocking ASUS VN247
Hello,
My friend showed me this forum and i decided to try out the 'Custom Resolution Utility'. The maximum i was able to squeeze out was 74Hz which is ok, but I was wondering if it's possible for me to at least reach 80Hz. I have ASUS VM247 monitor, GTX 660TI GPU and I'm using HDMI 1.4b cable. Thank you. |

RE: Help Overclocking ASUS VN247
Most monitors will not accept more than 77 Hz. The only thing you can do is try playing with the timing parameters.
1. Try adding a detailed resolution and just changing the refresh rate without changing the timing parameters. 2. Try using the "LCD reduced" option. That might not work in the 75-78 Hz range, depending on the monitor. 3. Try the "LCD standard" option. |
