Help Overclocking ASUS VN247

Hello,
My friend showed me this forum and i decided to try out the 'Custom Resolution Utility'. The maximum i was able to squeeze out was 74Hz which is ok, but I was wondering if it's possible for me to at least reach 80Hz. I have ASUS VM247 monitor, GTX 660TI GPU and I'm using HDMI 1.4b cable.

Most monitors will not accept more than 77 Hz. The only thing you can do is try playing with the timing parameters.

1. Try adding a detailed resolution and just changing the refresh rate without changing the timing parameters.
2. Try using the "LCD reduced" option. That might not work in the 75-78 Hz range, depending on the monitor.
3. Try the "LCD standard" option.
