No 4k@120hz with LG B9
I am trying to achieve 4k@120hz in windows 11 and had some trials with CRU but no success until now.
My setup is the following: Intel Nuc12wshi5 with iris xe graphics. It has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports that support dp alt mode 1 usbc to hdmi 2.1 cable 1 usbc to hdmi 2.1 adapter with a hdmi 2.1 cable Windows 11 LG 65b9pla oled tv The maximum I can squeeze with both cables is 4k@60hz although I know for sure the TV is hdmi 2.1 compliant. In CRU if I try directly to modify the refresh I am getting a red value and cannot continue. I tried adding DisplayID 1.3 and 2.0 each with a 3840 x 2160 and 120hz but nothing happened. |

You need to use the HDMI ports, not the USB-C ports. You shouldn't need to add any custom resolutions.

The NUC hdmi ports are not full hdmi 2.1, just tmds.
The max res with the hdmi 8k cable is still 4k@60hz |

RE: No 4k@120hz with LG B9
Then it might not be possible. DisplayPort has less bandwidth than HDMI 2.1, so 4K @ 120 Hz using an adapter will only work if the GPU and adapter both support display stream compression (DSC).
