That means it can't communicate with the monitor. What version were you using before? Does the old version still work?

LightBoost will continue to work after it's been unlocked, but the program needs to communicate with the monitor to check if it's been unlocked and for the brightness controls.

You don't need to reinstall the refresh rates. Just check strobelight.exe. Beta 4 should still have the retry button, but you shouldn't be getting that message unless something is interfering with monitor communication. If this is only happening when booting or logging in, I might have to release a new version that increases the number of tries.

Why not try it and let me know? I don't have a DisplayPort hub to test it myself, but it should work as long as it doesn't interfere with DDC communication. The only problem is the hub might not have enough bandwidth to run 3 monitors at 1920x1080 @ 120 Hz. You could connect 2 monitors to the hub and 1 monitor directly to the video card.

Can you describe what happens? Do you mean only one monitor plugged into the hub or only one monitor plugged directly into the video card?

If it won't work through the hub, you can use strobelight.exe to initialize each monitor one at a time, then connect two of them to the hub and one directly to the video card. Then strobelight.exe should see the one on the video card and run as a resolution switcher, which should work for all three monitors.

i tried to initialize each monitor direcly connected to the video card but asa i connect them to the hub lightboost is disabled.

Once LightBoost is unlocked, it should continue to work as long as the correct refresh rates are available. Have you tried reinstalling the refresh rates after connecting the monitors to the hub? Are the refresh rates available in the Windows screen resolution settings or the Catalyst Control Center?
