Using current display as default settings in CRU?
I have an ultra widescreen monitor. Resolution is 5120x1440. It will support 120Hz. It's connected to an nVidia RTX3060.

Unfortunately, my KVM doesn't quite support a 120Hz refresh rate. When I go to the Windows 11 display settings I have only the option for 60Hz and 120Hz. There are no other frequencies.

How can I keep the current resolution, but get an option for 100Hz? I assume that there isn't a registry tweak and I will need to use something like CRU.

It might be possible to add 100 Hz with CRU unless you're affected by the NVIDIA driver bug that prevents EDID overrides from working on some displays (extension blocks won't be readable in that case). You can also try adding a custom resolution using the NVIDIA control panel.

I used CRU to read the default 60Hz settings that I had and created an Extended block with 100Hz. Seems to be working well.
