cannot change brightness

[crapbmax]

so i bought a bmax y11 laptop from china and i have tried for a week to fix brightness problem.

the bright slide goes up and down in o/s tried win10 linux ubuntu but display stays at 100% tried drivers bios settings reg hacks nothing works.

i think this is some bios problem how software talks to the hardware is wrong. how can i get this to work ? did a report from intel driver.

you can go to control panel and click on windows mobility center
at left side you will find (display brightness) controller take it left ou right and the monitor will change the brightness.
