RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I'm on a NVCleanstall minimum install of 471.11 and this program breaks my drivers. When I apply the patch and reboot, my NVIDIA drivers stop working and it falls back to Microsoft basic display driver (bad resolution, bad refresh rate). Although I can fix it by undoing the patch. Also the "Pixel Clock Patcher 1.4.13 cannot find 'SL-DVI/HDMI limit' (all others found)" goes for me too. Irrelevant question: Am I more likely to harm my monitor by overclocking with this patch?

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I can't test anything myself right now, so I need people to this with 471.11 and 471.41:

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hey, toastyx!
I really need your help and advise I have an old Samsung LCD monitor, which was overclocked with your patcher to 77 Hz (with native PC timings) and was working superbly. It was connected to my 1070Ti GPU via DVI-D cable but unfortunately, my GPU got broken and I replaced it with a new 3070 RTX which does not have a DVI-D output so I've bought a DVI-D to DisplayPort 1.4 cable, then overclocked it to 77 Hz again but faced with very weird artifacts (?) - very small green dots here and there all over the screen. No matter which timings I choose for 77 Hz in CRU (I've tried all of them - native, reduced, exact reduced, automatic) the problem still persists, but if I switch back to 60 Hz all the artifacts disappear and the screen works normally. Below I attached a screenshot where you clearly can see my problem. |

Try an HDMI-DVI cable instead. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hello. I have a Samsung G7 monitor (32). When using a 1080ti video card, 480hz worked for me. Today I installed 3080ti and the maximum refresh rate is 430
Use DP. Driver 471.41 What could be the problem ? thx Update Reinstall driver. Repatch. Reboot. its work. Sorry ) |
